Dear Consumer-run Organization Leader,

Thank you for your interest in the National Coalition for Mental Health Recovery (NCMHR). The mission of our organization is to ensure that consumer/survivors have a major voice in the development and implementation of health care, mental health, and social policies at the state and national levels, empowering people to recover and lead a full life in the community.

On a state and national level we are promoting self-directed recovery and the services and supports needed to put this into place. We hope you will join us as we build a grassroots base of support across the country. Our voice is increasingly being heard in our nation’s Capitol as we gain recognition and grow in numbers. We have a seat at the table and we are making a difference.

It is with great enthusiasm that the Membership Committee of the National Coalition for Mental Health Recovery offers you or your organization this opportunity to submit an application for membership in this groundbreaking organization. See Membership Categories and Friends page for a description of the different categories of membership for consumer-run organizations, individuals, and Friends of the Coalition.

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing and timely basis. We encourage you to return your application as soon as possible so you can play a meaningful part in this organization. NCMHR is 0.2% of your organization's annual operating budget or $25 for individual members. However, if there is a hardship, please let us know in writing.

On behalf of the Membership Committee we look forward to your participation and support. If you have any questions or comments we encourage you to contact the National Coalition via our contact form or 877-246-9058.

Sincerely,
Jacob Bucher
Membership Committee Chairperson
